Supportive

Referrals to Springhill come from the Hawke’s Bay but some may come from other parts of New Zealand.
-
Build up
Springhill offers treatment to a diverse range of people recovering from alcohol and drug dependence. Each attendee commits to the programme voluntarily, and is treated in a safe and therapeutic environment.
Residents examine attitudes to themselves and others, creating lifestyle benefits to regain control of their lives and return to families, communities and employment.
-
Grow
The Springhill location is discrete, peaceful and therapeutic. For residents and staff, community support and goodwill is a major advantage to the programme.
The programme has a national reputation of the highest regard. Springhill is one of the last residential addiction treatment centre’s left in the North Island and is a symbol of a successful public/private partnership.
“In a very real sense, my life did not start until my journey through Springhill. There I began the process of learning who I truly am– without the need for alcohol or drugs”.
— Simon, 47
